Heartsaver CPR Heartsaver CPR is designed for lay responders who are serving as rescuers as part of their job responsibilities and are required to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

This could include police, firefighters, lifeguards, flight attendants, security personnel, office workers and anyone who is being trained to perform CPR and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO) for co-workers or the general public.

Heartsaver AED
(Automated External Defibrillator)
Heartsaver AED is a comprehensive course for the First Responder. It is designed to teach CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO) to all lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in the workplace.

This course is ideal for participants involved in public access defibrillation (PAD) programmes.

  Course participants could include security guards, firefighters, police, commercial airline crews, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, and other lay responders who have access to an AED.
